Nawaka 2018 will be organized at the International Scoutcentre Zeewolde.

For whom is Nawaka 2018?

The cubs, aged 7 to 11 years, have the opportunity to visit Nawaka 2018 for five days. Halfway through the camp, a change will take place.

The scouts, aged approximately 11 to 15 years represent the biggest group of scouts. The activities will be suited to the needs, interests, and capabilities of the scouts.

The explorers, aged 15 to 19 years. The activities will be suited to the needs, interests, and capabilities of the explorers.

The roverscouts can participate as an employee.


As a leader of a participating group, your main tasks and responsibilities are to accompany and take care of your participating group.

What is the Camp Fee?

The camp fee is fixed at €285.00. For cubs, the camp fee has been fixed at €140.00, as they only participate half of Nawaka 2018. The camp fee is a load of money, and we would like to indicate how the money is spent. For more information, see the page about camp fees.

What is the alcohol policy?

The national board has established a policy regarding 'Use of Alcohol at National Activities'. This means that at activities where members under the age of 18 years old are present, no alcohol will be consumed at places where these members could be present.

What is the drug policy?

The use and/or possession of drugs during the event is not allowed.

How is childcare arranged?

Unfortunately, no childcare is arranged for children of participants of Nawaka 2018. Children between the age of 8 and 18 are expected to participate in a self-arranged Sea Scout group. For children, below the age of 5 years, no childcare is possible due to regulations. The childcare is only for children of volunteers and not for children of participating leaders. A camp fee will apply.
